Jack Lander and friends will be Horsing Around on Kilimanjaro in support of Racing to School

Racing to School is absolutely delighted to be associated with the challenge being taken up by Jack Lander and friends, who in 2019 plan to climb Mount Kilimanjaro to raise money for a number of racing charities. Jack, who cemented his love of the sport when going on a Racing to School day with his primary school, may only be 12 but he is already well known in the sport for his brilliant fundraising efforts.

His incredible adventure will also be raising funds for Racing Welfare, the Injured Jockeys Fund and the Irish Injured Jockeys Fund.
The trip is open to applications, so if you have a sense of adventure and are interested in supporting the great work of racing’s charities, you can sign up here:

In addition, Jack has teamed up with The Jockey Club and ITV presenter Oli Bell to host a charity ball at Newbury Racecourse on Thursday 19th July 2018. The event will feature dinner, a live auction hosted by Richard Phillips, a Q&A session with a celebrity racing panel and the Lambourn band Uncovered. Tables of 10 are available for £1,000. For more information, please contact Darren Lander on 07904419092 or dazza1707@hotmail.com.

We are extremely grateful to Jack for his continued support of Racing to School and we wish him all the best with his epic quest next year.
